ABOUT US

Dr. Chemaly bought the practice from Dr. William Cuff in 2009 while it was still at 2146 Bloor St West.  She then had to relocate as the practice was fast growing to 305 South Kingsway in a state of the art facility with a CBCT capability.  Dr. Tommy Fok, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, joined the practice as an associate in 2018, and Dr. Magalhaes, our oral pathology oral medicine specialist, joined in 2017.  Our facility is free-standing and highly specialized building capable of delivering diagnostics, ambulatory oral surgery and anesthesia, oral pathology and medicine services to patients in a safe and fully licensed environment. Built to hospital building code specifications, the facility maintains its own backup electrical generator and is fire wall rated internally.

This building was purchased and full renovated to accommodate the new facility. All the area residents believe that it could have been the pastor’s residence as it had a bell on the north side of it, allegedly used for emergency purposes during that time. This was also confirmed by the architects, and the engineers who worked on the project once they saw its solid foundation and shell.

This specialty practice is more than a building. It is a concept, and a philosophy in the treatment of patients. It is a safe and pleasant environment designed to ease the anxiety of an apprehensive patient.

Our scope of practice includes the most up-to-date maxillofacial surgical techniques and technology. In addition, we have an extremely talented administrative and clinical team.

The specialists involved operate at the practice and out of local teaching and community hospitals, namely William Osler Health System, Sunnybrook Hospital, Markham Stouffville Hospital as well as The Hospital for Sick Children. We also participate in education and training of dental interns, residents in oral and maxillofacial surgery and pathology, as well as nursing and dental assisting students.
